The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Parsons looking to score a takedown here. Cabrillo is defending well but Parsons drives through and ends up in Cabrillo's guard.

Cabrillo has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Parsons postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Cabrillo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Parsons gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cabrillo wants to get back to his feet but Parsons is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Oh but Parsons is tightening it up a little... Cabrillo has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Cabrillo reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Cabrillo taps out! Nice BJJ there by Parsons!
