The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bouyer misses the shot to the body.
It looked like Garcia Jr wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Garcia Jr throws a head kick that misses.
Garcia Jr throws a body shot but no joy.
Bouyer feints the counter takedown.
Garcia Jr scores with a crisp jab that stopped Bouyer in his tracks.
Garcia Jr looks to land a body kick but Bouyer moved away.
Bouyer slips a jab and a cross from Garcia Jr.
Garcia Jr misses the shot to the body.
Garcia Jr throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Bouyer counters with a takedown into side control.

Bouyer working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Bouyer tries to score with some ground and pound. Garcia Jr controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Bouyer misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Bouyer swings around for an armbar but Garcia Jr sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Bouyer's guard.

Bouyer is looking to cinch up a triangle. Garcia Jr throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Bouyer's body to avoid the submission. Bouyer has instead reached around Garcia Jr's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Bouyer arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
