PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dan Sergeant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Como (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Como fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Sergeant clobbers Como with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Como is looking to score with low kicks.
Sergeant attempts a counter takedown but Como avoids it well and moves away.
Sergeant takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Como plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Sergeant in particular looking to stall.
Como wants to control but Sergeant passes into side.
Como tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Sergeant wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Como has a hand on Sergeant's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Sergeant takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
