The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kapane tries to clinch but Collins moves out of range.
Collins moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Kapane shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Collins but Collins pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kapane misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Collins turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Kapane is breathing heavily.

A big head kick from Collins and Kapane is sent sprawling to the canvas!

Collins winds up and cracks Kapane with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Collins lands a nice short elbow.
Collins takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Collins seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kapane does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Collins has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Kapane scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Collins manages to mount him!
