Garavito's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Thieves - Ministry. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garavito throws a hook to the side of Mayor's head but Mayor sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A looping hook to the body misses from Mayor. Garavito does a little dance to reset his feet.
Garavito swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A good leg kick by Mayor.
Mayor closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

It looks like Tommy Mayor has been cut.
Garavito takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Garavito with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Mayor to score with a decent uppercut.
Garavito moves out of range as Mayor strikes.
Mayor throws a quick inside leg kick.
Garavito lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Garavito backing away here, and Mayor unleashes a leg kick that just misses.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mayor catches Garavito with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

The crowd cheers as Mayor lands an impressive looking overhand right. Garavito doesn't seem phased though.
Mayor loads up on a big right hand but Garavito slips the punch.

Mayor misses with a hook.
Garavito looks to score with a jab to the body but Mayor is just out of range.

Garavito throws out a loose jab but Mayor uses good head movement to avoid it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Mayor lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Garavito misses with a looping left.
A countering left hand to the body from Mayor misses.
Mayor finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Mayor tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Garavito was well out of range. Poor timing from Mayor.
Mayor is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Garavito does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
It seemed like Mayor was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Mayor throws a front kick aimed at Garavito's knee but Garavito avoids it well.
Mayor has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Mayor moves out of range as Garavito strikes.

Mayor cracks Garavito with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Mayor has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Garavito to stand back up!

Garavito is rocked!
Mayor is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Garavito flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Garavito is out cold! Mayor holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
