Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sunny Day (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alan Paudge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Day misses with an uppercut

and Paudge counters by moving into the clinch.
Day wants to break the clinch but can't.
Paudge is trying to stall.

Day has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Paudge is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Day.

Paudge is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Day can't fight it off and eventually Paudge manages to take the fight to the floor. Day looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Day isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Paudge stacks Day on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Paudge!

I really don't envy Day right now.

Paudge is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Paudge gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Paudge gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Paudge apologises and we restart here on the feet.
