Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chris Connor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Khalil Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chris Connor has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Connor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Khalil Silva!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Connor tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Silva defends well and Connor ends up having to push Silva into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Connor scores with a head kick. Silva tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Connor leaves Silva with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Silva stuffs the takedown.
Connor goes for a double leg but Silva avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Silva continues to drive forward.
A nice side step and Silva releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

And Silva responds with a good body kick, but Connor manages to step out the way in time.

Silva sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva is trying is best to control the position here.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Connor is trying to control the action in half guard but Silva is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Connor thows a huge punch but Silva dodges it nicely.

Connor is trying to drag Silva to the mat but Silva just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Connor tries to close the distance and clinch but Silva swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Silva dives in for a single leg takedown but Connor sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Silva gets control of Connor's arms and successfully pulls guard. Silva will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Silva can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Connor controls the pace.

Silva escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Connor gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Silva working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Connor doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Connor manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Connor loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Connor lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Connor.
Connor tries to clinch but Silva moves out of range.
Connor tries to score a power double leg takedown but Silva sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Connor somewhat.
Silva drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Connor defends it well.

Khalil Silva showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Connor shoots in looking for a takedown. Silva tries to sprawl out of it but Connor keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Silva manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Connor is trying to push Silva away but Silva has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Silva gets through Connor's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Connor accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Well Silva has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
