Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Hecker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Algot Uggla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hecker comes to the cage accompanied by The Ultimate Warrior. Jeff Hecker has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

With a record of 9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Algot Uggla!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yuuki Gou and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uggla shoots in but Hecker avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Uggla dodges the punch combination from Hecker.
Uggla with the counter takedown but Hecker avoids it easily.

Uggla shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Hecker napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Hecker takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Hecker is looking for a sweep.
Hecker looks to move to half guard but instead Uggla has passed into mount! Damn!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Uggla tries to push Hecker's head away but Hecker is holding on tight.

Uggla goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Hecker is on top in guard.

Hecker lands a couple of elbows.
Hecker keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Uggla's head.
Hecker stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Uggla swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hecker postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Uggla looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Hecker working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Uggla looking to control.
Uggla wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Hecker is now in half guard.
Uggla tries to roll over but Hecker keeps him under control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Uggla is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Hecker scores with a couple of nice shots.
Hecker is looking to take a break and control but Uggla is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Hecker takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Uggla is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Hecker pulls his head out easily.
Uggla pushes Hecker off looking to stand but Hecker dives back in and keeps control.
The fighters are battling for position here. Uggla manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Hecker trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Hecker wants to control from the top but Uggla keeps moving.
Uggla looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hecker is one step ahead there.

Uggla not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Uggla preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Uggla bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hecker's guard.

Uggla trying to control the position from guard on top but Hecker is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Hecker looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Uggla stands and throws Hecker's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Hecker is trying to get back to his feet.
Hecker is looking to regain half guard here but Uggla keeps moving and retains side control.

Uggla tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Uggla throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Hecker works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Hecker is trying to get back to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Algot Uggla will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Hecker gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Uggla to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Uggla drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Hecker dives on top into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hecker wants to control the position but Uggla says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Hecker wants to improve his position but Uggla is controlling well.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Uggla connects with a nice short shot to Hecker's temple.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Hecker tries to get to full guard but Uggla has control of the leg.
Hecker is trying to maintain the position but Uggla is very close to passing his half guard.

Hecker is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Uggla has latched onto it... Big trouble! Uggla pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Hecker is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Uggla!
