The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vera stuffs the takedown attempt from Zhang. Zhang gets slowly back to his feet.
Vera keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Zhang fails to land the takedown.
Vera lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Zhang is rocked!
Zhang shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Vera counters with a left to the body.
Zhang is still on wobbly legs! Can Vera finish him?
Lando Vera has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lao Zhang.
Zhang looks winded!
Vera thuds a left hand into Zhang's body.
Zhang takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Zhang walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Zhang limp body while Vera jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
