Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Larken Rose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mallador Locke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Locke misses.
Locke shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Rose counters with a one-two to the body.
The fight stays on the outside here - Rose looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Rose ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Rose takes the fight into the clinch.
Rose lands with a short shot to the head.
A short right from Rose on the inside.
Rose lands with a light punch inside.
Rose prevents a body shot from Locke.
Rose lands a body shot.
Rose makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Locke wants to stall.
Rose lands a hook that snaps the head of Locke backwards.

Rose presses Locke against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Rose gets through Locke's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Rose lands with a short head shot on the inside.

Rose working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Locke is looking to control Rose's arms but Rose gets an underhook and turns him. Now Locke has his back to the cage.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Locke has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Rose scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Rose lands with a right to the head.

Rose lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Rose lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rose digs a right hand into Locke's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Locke's gas tank.

Rose lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Locke to his knees! Rose keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!

Larken Rose decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
