Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mac Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Ponting (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tom Ponting told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ponting throws a sloppy head kick and Davis moves out of range easily.
Ponting misses with a wild body shot.
Davis avoids the head kick by Ponting.

Ponting tries a head kick but it misses.
Davis shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Davis was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Ponting squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Davis is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Davis extends the arm and Ponting is forced to tap!
