Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bubba Gu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akeel Lynch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lynch wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Gu fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lynch avoids it really well and circles away.

and Lynch connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Lynch throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Lynch scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Lynch looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Gu with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Lynch is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Lynch winds up and cracks Gu with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Gu on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Gu tries to get out of the position.
Lynch is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Lynch is nestled in close to Gu, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lynch lands a big elbow - Gu is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Lynch!
