Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mr Universe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Bowman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Mr Universe has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Mr Universe seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bowman shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Bowman shoots in but no luck this time.
Universe throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Universe avoids a punch combination nicely.
Bowman tries for a takedown but Universe sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Mr Universe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tom Bowman.
Bowman will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Bowman shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Universe sprawls well. Universe wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bowman gets slowly back to his feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Mr Universe will probably get the nod.

Bowman isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Universe stacks Bowman on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Universe!

Bowman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Universe tries to avoid it but Bowman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Universe to the ground. Universe escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Universe, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
