Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Childish Gambino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arthur Halo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gambino comes to the cage accompanied by Bonfire. Halo has chosen Motorhead - The King Of Kings as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 30 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Childish Gambino!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Arthur Halo!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Gambino. Those never looked like landing.
Halo shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Halo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Halo throws a big right hand that misses.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gambino is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Halo is controlling him.
Halo has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Halo sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Gambino's guard.

Halo is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Gambino wants to get back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Halo is looking for a kimura but Gambino is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Halo to get the leverage.

Halo is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Halo is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Halo lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Halo seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Gambino has recovered full guard.
Halo throwing strikes but missing.
Halo throwing strikes from guard but Gambino blocks nicely.
Gambino seems keen to control Halo's posture.
Halo trying to move into half guard but instead Gambino has managed to sweep!

Gambino wants to get up but he can't break Halo's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Halo had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Gambino defends it easily.

Halo pushes a forearm under Gambino's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Gambino is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Arthur Halo!
