Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Sandra Marshall and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barreto shoots for a double leg takedown but Ilram sprawls well. He's pushed Barreto's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Ilram clobbers Barreto with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Barreto shoots in but Ilram avoids the takedown attempt easily.

and Ilram counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Rutan Ilram has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eron Barreto.
Barreto takes a jab right on the kisser.
It looks like Eron Barreto has been cut.
Ilram scores with the left hand. Barreto knows he should have avoided that one.
Barreto shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ilram's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ilram is trying to keep Barreto in close.

Barreto tries for a kimura but Ilram is defending well.
Barreto wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ilram keeps working.
Barreto postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Ilram manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Barreto works his way to full guard. Good work.
Barreto has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ilram can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Ilram has his foot on Barreto's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Barreto works his way back into a safe position though.

Barreto wants to control from the top but Ilram keeps moving.
Ilram is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ilram is on top in guard.
Ilram might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Barreto had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Ilram defends it easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Barreto is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ilram defends well.
Ilram is looking to advance position but Barreto has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Ilram tries to control the position but Barreto now has his back.

Ilram wants to escape the position.
Barreto connects with a big shot to the side of Ilram's head.
Barreto has the hooks in. Ilram is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Barreto has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Ilram has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Ilram looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Barreto has managed to slip his arm under Ilram's chin. This could be all over... yep, Ilram is tapping out! Submission win for Barreto.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Eron Barreto!
