Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Sano and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A low kick from Miyazawa misses
and Reilly counters with a one-two to the body.

Reilly gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Miyazawa to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Reilly really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Reilly is trying to escape the position but Miyazawa is controlling the position.
Reilly takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Miyazawa in side control lands a decent elbow.
Miyazawa wants to lay and pray for a moment but Reilly keeps working.

Miyazawa decides to stand up, so the ref orders Reilly to his feet.

Reilly is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Miyazawa is aware though and is defending well.

Reilly is looking to control Miyazawa's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Reilly avoid being mounted?
Miyazawa has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Miyazawa is pressing down on Reilly's thigh, looking to free his foot. Reilly is holding on for now.

Reilly shoots for a double leg takedown but Miyazawa sprawls well. He's pushed Reilly's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Kiichi Miyazawa showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Miyazawa prevents Reilly from improving his position.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Miyazawa's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Miyazawa has Reilly up against the cage in a clinch.

Miyazawa breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Reilly gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Miyazawa counters with a body kick that stops Reilly in his tracks momentarily.

Miyazawa has closed the distance and engaged Reilly in a clinch.

Miyazawa pulls Reilly into guard.
Reilly makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Reilly throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Miyazawa has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Reilly can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Miyazawa is pulling down on Reilly's head to control his posture.

Reilly loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Miyazawa kicks Reilly off and gets to his feet.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Miyazawa feints and as Reilly raises his hands in defense, Miyazawa changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Miyazawa takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Rashad Reilly has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Kiichi Miyazawa is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Kiichi Miyazawa comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Miyazawa has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
