Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Frank Dux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Masa Hattori (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Winston Alpacca and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dux has a takedown stuffed.
Hattori throws out a counter right but Dux avoids it with no problem.
Hattori misses with a straight right.
Dux cracks a nice hook into Hattori's ribs.
Hattori takes a swing at Dux's ribcage but misses.
Dux fails with a takedown attempt.
As Dux backs off Hattori throws a huge counter combo but Dux manages to avoid it all.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hattori moves out of range of the leg kick from Dux.
Hattori looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Hattori leaves Dux with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Dux. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dux darts in looking for a takedown but Hattori gets double underhooks and turns Dux into the cage.
It seemed like Hattori was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Dux looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Hattori is trying to stand.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Dux in particular looking to stall.
Dux seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Hattori for as long as he can get away with.
Dux trying to mount his opponent but Hattori defends it.
Dux prevents Hattori from standing back up.
Dux moves nicely into side control.
Dux definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Dux lands a nice forearm strike.
Dux passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Hattori!
Hattori really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dux. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hattori is trying to stand up.

Dux looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Dux is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Hattori has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hattori wants to get back to his feet.
Hattori is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Dux locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Hattori is forced to tap!

Frank Dux was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
