Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Koko Beware (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ash Larson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Larson has chosen Let the Bodies Hit the Floor as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beware will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Larson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Beware to the mat! Beware manages to get full guard.

Beware is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Beware has his foot on Larson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Larson works his way back into a safe position though.

Beware working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Larson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Larson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Beware looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Larson gets to his feet. Beware looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Beware shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Larson counters with a slapping leg kick.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Larson drives through and clinches with Beware against the cage.

Larson wants the takedown. Beware is fighting it off but Larson persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Beware's guard against the cage.

and Larson counters with a nice double leg into side control. Beware won't be happy with that.

Beware has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Larson doesn't defend quickly enough and Beware has managed to lock this one up! Can Larson escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Beware on a fantastic submission victory.
