Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ludwig Manres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quian Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Manres comes to the cage accompanied by Aqualung - Jethro Tull. Ludwig Manres is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 35 - 40 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Ludwig Manres!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 41 - 29 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Quian Kane!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, William Peck and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane misses with an uppercut.
Kane displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Manres.
Kane jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Manres misses with a double jab.
Kane looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Manres dives in and grabs Kane's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kane pushes down on Manres's head and hops out.
Kane throws a combination. Manres tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kane tries to bum rush Manres with a series of wild strikes but Manres uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Manres feinted with a counter takedown.
Manres gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Manres takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ludwig Manres. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Kane pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Manres back to the cage. Kane follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Manres connects with a nice looking jab.
Quian Kane is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kane connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Manres throws a leg kick but Kane sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Manres looks for a takedown but Kane sprawls well.

Kane moves into the clinch.

Manres is looking to take this one to the mat.
Kane lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Manres fails to pull guard.
Manres blocks the elbow strike.
Manres fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Kane prevents a takedown attempt there.
Manres tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
A frustrated look appears on Manres's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Manres breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A jab from Kane misses.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Kane looks to score with a jab to the body but Manres is just out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kane connects with a high kick.
Kane connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Manres's hands.

Nice jab there from Kane.
Kane wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Manres throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kane fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Manres shoots in but Kane avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Kane will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Manres shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kane as he jumps to the side.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Manres shoots in looking for a takedown but Kane manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Manres's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Manres shoots and misses
and Kane counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Manres has a takedown stuffed.
Manres dives in for a single leg takedown but Kane sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Kane thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Manres if he has to take too many more of those.
Manres is breathing heavily.
Manres takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kane is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Quian Kane dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Kane connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Manres! He's out on his feet! Kane rushes in and drops Manres with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!

Quian Kane decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
