The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gart paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

It looks like Sami Holmen has been cut.

Holmen scores with a takedown into Gart 's guard.
Holmen trying to control but Gart is working from the bottom.
Holmen won't allow Gart to get back to his feet.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Holmen trying to control the position from guard on top but Gart is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Holmen trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Holmen accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Gart keeping full guard, as Holmen tries to pass.
Gart is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Holmen is controlling him.
Holmen pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Gart is keeping the position for now.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Gart circles away from the clinch attempt.
Holmen shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Gart throws a nice looking combination but Holmen bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Gart misses with a straight left.
Holmen defending well as Gart loads up on a big left hand.
Holmen shoots in for a double leg but Gart sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Holmen.
Floyd Gart has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sami Holmen.
Gart looks to land a combination but Holmen avoids it well.
Gart connects with a superb combination that knocks Holmen out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Gart before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Holmen!
