Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Royce Salll (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Modeous Kahn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Modeous Kahn told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Royce Salll!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Modeous Kahn!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Columbo Gatti and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Salll is landing with some decent strikes but Kahn is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Salll takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Salll's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Kahn lands a glancing blow to the side of Salll's head.
Kahn lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Salll circles away quickly and effectively.
Kahn comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Kahn leaves Salll with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Kahn paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.


It looks like Royce Salll has been cut.

and Kahn counters with a left and a right that stings Salll.
Salll takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Modeous Kahn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kahn looks to land a combination. Salll sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.


Salll is rocked!
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Kahn has cracked Salll with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Kahn lands another huge swinging hook and Salll tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Salll, before Kahn can land any more shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Modeous Kahn!
