Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chief Tecumseh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Todd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tecumseh lands an overhand right.
Todd shoots in for a takedown but Tecumseh shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Todd throws a body shot but no joy.
Tecumseh scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Todd doesn't seem bothered though.

Todd pushes Tecumseh up against the cage in a clinch.
Tecumseh tries to work over Todd's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Tecumseh stops a takedown attempt from Todd.

Todd escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Todd tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Tecumseh swivels and escapes.
Chief Tecumseh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Todd.
Tecumseh throws a body shot but no joy.

Todd tries for a takedown but Tecumseh manages to get underhooks.

Tecumseh creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Todd with a big uppercut! Todd tries to clinch up but Tecumseh pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Todd to the mat! Todd covers up and Tecumseh unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
