The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snyder shoots in but no luck this time.

Bustos instigates a clinch.
Bustos lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Snyder backwards.
Bustos scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Snyder has Bustos pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Bustos manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Bustos lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bustos lands a really nice looking cross but Snyder seems unphased.
Bustos lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Snyder circles away quickly and effectively.
As Bustos looks to move away, Snyder throws a big counter combo but Bustos just gets out of the way.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Snyder jumps guard but Bustos turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Bustos just misses with a elbow thrown towards Snyder's brow.
Bustos throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Snyders head.
Snyder is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Bustos to keep the fight standing.

Bustos's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Prospero Bustos dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Snyder walks straight into a right hand from Bustos - that's dropped him! Bustos jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Snyder from any more punishment! Snyder complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
