The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rhodes swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Attila counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Attila lands with a right hand.
Attila misses with an uppercut.
Rhodes has managed to clinch.

Attila tries to throw a body punch but Rhodes avoids it by throwing Attila back against the cage.
Attila pushes Rhodes back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Attila ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rhodes moves away.

Attila lands a right hand that snaps the head of Rhodes backwards.
Attila misses with a short punch on the inside.
Rhodes breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Brady Rhodes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rhodes moves into the clinch successfully.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Attila wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Attila misses with a hook to the ribs.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Rhodes's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Attila pulls guard effortlessly.
Attila has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Rhodes is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Attila.

You can see the frustration on Attila's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Rhodes looks up at the clock and then as Attila takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Rhodes smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Attila is looking to reverse the position.
Attila takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Attila can't do much from the bottom here.
Attila is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Rhodes is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Attila tries to hold on but Rhodes pushes him away.
Rhodes is landing with some decent strikes but Attila is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Attila can't escape the position.
Attila bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Rhodes looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Rhodes looking for a sweep. Not yet Rhodes, not yet.
Attila trying to control the position from guard on top but Rhodes is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Attila looking to sit in guard and control but Rhodes gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Attila had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Rhodes defends it easily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Attila working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Rhodes has passed into half guard!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Brady Rhodes will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

and Attila counters with a three punch combo that has Rhodes backing up. Rhodes nods at Attila to acknowledge the strikes.
Rhodes uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Attila.
Rhodes has Attila up against the cage in a clinch.
Rhodes really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Rhodes is pushing Attila up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Attila can't find room to land a body shot as Rhodes controls the action.
Rhodes manages to break the clinch.

Rhodes looking to score a takedown here. Attila is defending well but Rhodes drives through and ends up in Attila's guard.

Attila has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Rhodes doesn't defend quickly enough and Attila has managed to lock this one up! Can Rhodes escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Attila on a fantastic submission victory.
