Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mario Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Henrik Robertsson!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Robertsson shoots in and gets a takedown into Lee's guard.

Robertsson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Robertsson drops back looking for a leg! Lee is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lee manages to kick Robertsson off! Robertsson jumps back into Lee's guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Robertsson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lee pulls Robertsson in close to his closed guard and prevents Robertsson from doing any damage or advancing position.
Robertsson postures up and lands a big shot to Lee's brow.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Robertsson drops back looking for a leg! Lee is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lee manages to kick Robertsson off! Robertsson jumps back into Lee's guard.

Robertsson scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Robertsson passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Robertsson tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Robertsson wants to control but Lee is keeping him busy.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Lee really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Robertsson wants to control the pace but Lee is squirming around nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Henrik Robertsson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Robertsson walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Lee slaps away a takedown attempt from Robertsson, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Robertsson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lee's waist but Lee gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Robertsson off to one side.

and Lee counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Henrik Robertsson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lee lands a jab to Robertsson's midsection.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Robertsson has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Lee misses with a two punch combination.
Robertsson doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Lee connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Mario Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Henrik Robertsson.

Lee stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
A combination from Robertsson does no damage.
An attempted straight right counter from Lee misses the target.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Robertsson.
Lee darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Lee stuffs the takedown.
Robertsson drops his hands momentarily and Lee takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

and Lee counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Lee fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Robertsson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Mario Lee is winning the standup battle so far.
Lee throws a right and a left that Robertsson avoids nicely.
Lee bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Robertsson's head backwards.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lee ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Lee definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Robertsson throws a body punch but Lee moves out of range.
It looked like Lee was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Robertsson has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Robertsson there as he acknowledges the shot.
Robertsson has his takedown stuffed
and Lee counters with a nice uppercut.
Lee with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Robertsson is breathing heavily.
Robertsson misses with a double jab.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Robertsson takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Good standup being displayed there by Lee as he connects with a hook.


Robertsson is rocked!
Lee lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Robertsson is still on wobbly legs! Can Lee finish him?
Lee keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Lee engages and cracks Robertsson with a massive lead left hook - Robertsson tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Lee is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mario Lee!
Mario Lee opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
