Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Stokes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mac Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stokes avoids a punch combination nicely.
Stokes tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Power manages to circle out of the way.
Power swats away the attempt to clinch by Stokes.
Power lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

and Power counters with a series of strikes. Stokes will be more careful next time no doubt.

and Power counters with a nice uppercut.
Stokes dives in for a single leg takedown but Power sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Power tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Stokes smiles and moves away.

Stokes is pushing down on Power's leg trying to pass to half guard. Power is fighting to maintain full guard but Stokes has managed to sneak the leg through.

Power has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Power can do anything to dispel that myth.
Power has a hand on Stokes's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Stokes takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Stokes wants to control the pace but Power is squirming around nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Power is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Power is desperately trying to improve his position but Stokes has a good base and remains in mount.

Stokes looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Power tries to hold on but Stokes postures up.

Stokes moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Power has worked his arm free - good work by Power!

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Stokes wants to control but Power is keeping him busy.

Power explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

That was a close second round but I would say that Rocky Stokes will probably get the nod.

Power lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Power.

Mac Power comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
