These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Asashoryu plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
It looks like Peter Broc has been cut.
Asashoryu throws a front kick to the face that drops Broc face first to the mat! Oh, he's in big trouble! He's stumbling all over the place and has face planted into the ropes, causing the referee to call an end to the fight! What a finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Front Kick). Yokozuna Asashoryu!
A less than humble Yokozuna Asashoryu misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
