The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Man lands a big head kick that sends Back tumbling to the mat! Man takes a step backwards and waves Back back to his feet - he wants the finish!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Man shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Back's guard.

Man isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Back stacks Man on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Back!

Back is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Man changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Back tries to avoid it but Man manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Back to the ground. Back escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

It looked like Man was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Back.
Man shoots in but Back avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Man swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Man as Back tries to tie him up.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Back takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Man tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Back just stands there and leans against the cage.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
