Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yuuki Gou and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Smith tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Smith rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Nibotshu moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Nibotshu tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Nibotshu fails with a takedown attempt.
Nibotshu lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nibotshu knocks Smith to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?
Smith is rocked!
Nibotshu is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Smith knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Nibotshu wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Smith, who protects the arm well.
Nibotshu wants to stand but Smith has his arm trapped.

Smith is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Nibotshu pulls his head out easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Smith looks gassed!
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Smith throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Nibotshu counters with a flying knee. Nice.
It looks like Umbabarauma Smith has been cut.
Nibotshu throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Smith crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Shinga Nibotshu!
