The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Robert Douchet and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pelle scores with a jab to the body.
Maximus throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Pelle stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Pelle throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Maximus.
Pelle pushes Maximus up against the cage in a clinch.
Maximus misses with a hook from the clinch.
Maximus lands a body punch.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Pelle.
Pelle lands a left hand that snaps the head of Maximus backwards.
Maximus throws a punch but it's blocked by Pelle.
Pelle swings wildly with an uppercut but Maximus uses good head movement to avoid it.
Maximus cracks Pelle with a nice body shot.
Pelle throws a punch but it's blocked by Maximus.

Pelle misses with a hook to the ribs.

A nice right hand lands inside from Maximus.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pelle is working Maximus over against the cage.
Pelle fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Maximus lands with a left to the head.

Maximus blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Maximus breaks the clinch.
Pelle moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like DJ Maximus has been cut.
Pelle scores with a jab to the jaw.
We've been informed that Maximus has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Maximus takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Maximus staying out of range there.
Pelle waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Maximus.
Maximus looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Pelle misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Pelle tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Pelle throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Maximus swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Pelle swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Maximus counters with a nice uppercut.
A big right from Maximus misses.
Pelle looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
