Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wouter Leg Lock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Jason Taylor!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Phil Schofield and Andrew Berry.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Taylor throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Leg Lock was covering up waiting for the punch and Taylor finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Leg Lock looking for a guillotine here but Taylor defends easily.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Taylor's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Taylor is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Taylor works over Leg Lock with some ground and pound from guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Taylor slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Taylor scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Leg Lock escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Taylor gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Taylor scoring with some ground and pound.
Taylor postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Taylor tries to free his leg and advance position but Leg Lock is retaining full guard.
Taylor is in close to Leg Lock's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Taylor wants to control from the top but Leg Lock keeps moving.
My spies in English Top Team - THE Hybrid Gym (11 ELITE ) inform me that Taylor has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
Taylor is in close to Leg Lock's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Taylor slips nicely into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Taylor looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Leg Lock with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Taylor lands a nice short elbow.

Leg Lock on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Taylor lands with a punch from half guard.

Leg Lock is rocked!
Taylor lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Leg Lock! More strikes land and this one is all over! Taylor jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!

Jason Taylor was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
