Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Punt Hardman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jan Rey Reyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardman takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Hardman gets the takedown into side control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Reyes can do anything to dispel that myth.

Hardman wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Reyes, who protects the arm well.

Hardman is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Reyes is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Hardman tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hardman has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
