The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stoic decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stoic is nestled in close to Yakuza, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Stoic lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Yakuza! More strikes land and this one is all over! Stoic jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!

Victor Stoic spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
The defeated Ichi Yakuza had this to say: 'This has not been honorable. Seppuku!'.
