Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lance Kent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Prudencio Abilio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Prudencio Abilio has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A lazy body kick from Abilio
and Kent cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Kent buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Abilio dives in and scores a takedown into Kent's guard.
Kent wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Abilio manages to pass to side control.

Kent is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Abilio seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Abilio passes the guard and advances to mount!

Kent regains half guard.

Abilio is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Kent wants to get back to full guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Abilio is controlling the pace.
Kent is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Abilio perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Kent is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Abilio's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Abilio's back!

Kent connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Abilio to escape the position.
The referee is taking a good look at Abilio as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Kent!

Abilio manages to reverse the position and now he's in Kent's guard. Nice work there by Abilio.
Abilio postures up and lands a big shot to Kent's brow.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Abilio throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kent works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Kent really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Abilio is pushing down on Kent's leg trying to pass to half guard. Kent is fighting to maintain full guard but Abilio has managed to sneak the leg through.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Abilio wants to pass the guard but Kent is defending well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Prudencio Abilio will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Kent gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Abilio lands a couple of digs.

Abilio really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kent. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Abilio is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Abilio kicks Kent off and gets back to his feet.

Abilio has hold of one of Kent's legs. Kent is fighting the takedown attempt but Abilio gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Kent is working an open guard so Abilio takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Kent throws a head kick that misses.
Kent takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Abilio working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Abilio has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Abilio is figuring out what he wants to do next.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Kent wants to improve his position but Abilio is controlling well.

Abilio escapes and gets back to his feet.
Some wild striking there from Kent.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Abilio. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Abilio throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kent was covering up waiting for the punch and Abilio finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Kent is looking to stand back up but Abilio counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Kent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Prudencio Abilio showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Abilio feints and as Kent raises his hands in defense, Abilio changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Abilio lands a couple of digs.
Kent preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Abilio gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Kent tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Abilio was well out of range. Poor timing from Kent.

Abilio shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Abilio showed some decent athleticism there.
Abilio is controlling the pace.
Let's hope that Abilio has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Abilio is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Abilio seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Abilio stands up and beckons Kent to join him on the feet.
Lance Kent is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Abilio fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Kent is out of range.

Abilio shoots in and bounces Kent off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Abilio slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Kent is working an open guard so Abilio takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Prudencio Abilio comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
