The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bentley shoots in but no luck this time.
As Bentley backs off Mestre throws a huge counter combo but Bentley manages to avoid it all.
Mestre displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bentley throws out the jab.
Mestre shoots in for a takedown but Bentley shows good takedown defense.
Bentley looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Mestre shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bentley's guard.
Bentley knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mestre on the ground.
Mestre controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mestre is looking to stand up but Bentley won't let him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mestre looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Bentley has an active guard here but Mestre has managed to pass into half guard.

Mestre is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bentley defends it well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Mestre seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Bentley is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
