Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Speed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vesa Asikainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Asikainen closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Speed is trying to control Asikainen's posture but Asikainen avoids it.
Asikainen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Speed. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Speed holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage.

Asikainen is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Speed knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
An elbow from Asikainen crashes against the mat.
Speed is looking to reverse the position.
Speed struggling a bit here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Speed is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Asikainen is controlling him well.
Asikainen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Speed keeps working.
Speed throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.

Speed gets back to half guard.
Speed is concentrating on defense, preventing Asikainen from advancing position.
Asikainen is trying to control the action in half guard but Speed is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Asikainen is trying to control. Speed wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Asikainen is working for a submission of some sort.
Speed gets back to full guard.

Speed throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Speed has control of Asikainen's left arm, preventing Asikainen from doing any damage.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Asikainen throws a big elbow that misses.
Asikainen pushing down on Speed's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Asikainen stalling away here and it's allowed Speed to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Asikainen in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Speed looking to control.
Asikainen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Speed swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Speed wants to sweep but no luck.
Speed wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Asikainen throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Speed is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Asikainen has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Speed to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Asikainen is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Speed pulls down on the head and he's put Asikainen to sleep! This one is all over!
