The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Manual shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Septi is refusing to be controlled, as Manual sits in half guard.
Septi is trying to get back to full guard.

Septi looking for submissions off his back.
Manual is keen to just control but Septi is a slippery customer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Manual wants to control from the top but Septi keeps moving.

Manual is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Septi is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Septi has escaped and now he's on top!

Manual is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Septi lands a nice short elbow.

Septi wants to free his trapped foot but Manual is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Septi uses his free foot to push down on Manual's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Manual.
