Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Melon takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Melon scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Sands, as that shot connected.
Sands throws the left hand but Melon avoids the punch easily.
Melon takes a jab right on the kisser.
Sands throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Sands shoots in for a takedown but Melon shows good takedown defense.
Melon half committed to a counter leg kick.
Sands bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Melon scores with a leg kick.
Sands clobbers Melon with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Sands looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sands lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Sands misses with a head shot. Melon uses the momentum to regain guard.
Sands tries to free his leg and advance position but Melon is retaining full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sands works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Sands not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Sands is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Melon is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
