Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Degrizz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Black Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Degrizz's entrance music is Battle in prison. A fine choice. Black Coleman has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jim Degrizz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Black Coleman!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Degrizz scores with a one two! Coleman had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.


It looks like Black Coleman has been cut.
Jim Degrizz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Degrizz moves out of range of the strikes.
Degrizz throws an overhand right that lands on Coleman's shoulder, as Coleman tries to avoid the shot.
Coleman drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Degrizz defends it well.

Coleman shoots in for a takedown but Degrizz shows good takedown defense.

Coleman swings around for an armbar but Degrizz sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Coleman's guard.

Degrizz sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Coleman's guard.

Degrizz is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Coleman has managed to free his arm - good work.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Coleman shoots in looking for a takedown but Degrizz manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Coleman's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jim Degrizz will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Degrizz throws a solid leg kick but Coleman takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Degrizz.

Degrizz is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Coleman.

Black Coleman is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Coleman fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Degrizz to the ground. Coleman is now in Degrizz's guard.

Coleman avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Degrizz is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Degrizz is looking to work some ground and pound but Coleman has wrist control.
Degrizz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Coleman swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Degrizz wants to control from the top but Coleman keeps moving.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Coleman tries to bum rush Degrizz with a series of wild strikes but Degrizz uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Degrizz closes the distance and lands a one-two.
A head kick from Degrizz lands but Coleman takes it in his stride.
Degrizz lands a slapping body shot.

Coleman bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Coleman takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Coleman looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Degrizz is avoiding damage well.
Degrizz is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Degrizz is working hard here to advance position.
Degrizz is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Coleman off and has taken his back!
Coleman rolls, trying to escape but Degrizz keeps control of the position.

Coleman is having to fend off submission attempts from Degrizz, who is looking to sink in the choke. Degrizz doesn't have the hooks in though and Coleman manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard.

Degrizz has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Coleman can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

And that's the end of the fight!
Jim Degrizz showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Degrizz, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
