Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rick Rollins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gizmo Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rick Rollins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Gizmo Williams!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Peter Branson and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Williams closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Rollins to the mat! Rollins manages to get full guard.
Rollins wants to sweep but no luck.
Rollins is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Williams is controlling him.
Rollins is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Williams content to stall in guard here.
Williams really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rollins. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Williams stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rollins swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Williams must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Rollins fails with the takedown.

Williams shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Rollins napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Williams is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Rollins is looking for a sweep.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Williams has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Rollins dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Williams stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Williams wants it to stay on the feet.

Williams pushes Rollins up against the cage in a clinch.

Williams pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Rollins takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Rollins fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Williams drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Rollins is pushing Williams's head away, looking to escape. Williams manages to hold on to the position though.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Rollins gets back to half guard.
Williams looks winded!
Williams is taking a breather. Rollins says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Williams lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Williams trying to control the pace.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Williams misses with a head shot. Rollins uses the momentum to regain guard.
Rollins trying to keep a closed guard but Williams is proving a slippery customer.

Williams gets to his feet. Rollins looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Rollins fails with an attempt to clinch.
Rollins fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Rollins moves in looking to clinch but Williams pushes him off.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Gizmo Williams will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


A right-left combo lands from Rollins.


It looks like Gizmo Williams has been cut.
Rollins fails to land the takedown.
Williams swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Rick Rollins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Williams gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Rollins gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rick Rollins!
