The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kent throws a right and a left that both miss.
Trump lands a slapping body shot.
Kent gets caught flat footed, as Trump shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Kent scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Trump feints and as Kent raises his hands in defense, Trump changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Kent manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Kent sneaks out the side door and pushes Trump away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Kent pushes Trump off and scrambles back to his feet.
Kent cracks Trump with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Kent really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Trump decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Trump has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Kent is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Trump.

Trump tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Kent presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Kent fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Trump drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kent looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kent looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kent!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Kent enables Trump to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kent manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Trump got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kent has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Trump has managed to get both his arms back between Kent's legs - danger averted.

Kent has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
