The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sayre has a takedown stuffed.

Sayre has Womba up against the cage in a clinch.
Sayre is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Womba is keeping busy.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Womba jumps guard but Sayre stands there with Womba around his waist. Womba gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Womba fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Womba changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Sayre fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Sayre looks to land a combination but Womba avoids it well.

Womba sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Sayre's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sayre is in a horrible position here. Womba smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Sayre flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Sayre is squirming around, avoiding Womba's attempts to control the action.
Sayre is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Sayre is looking to get to half guard.

Sayre is desperately trying to improve his position but Womba has a good base and remains in mount.

Womba is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Sayre is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Sayre flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Womba anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Sayre and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Womba slips an arm under Sayre chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Womba has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Womba is squeezing on Sayre like an anaconda would it's prey. Sayre fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
