The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Jamison decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Miller's guard.
Jamison works a leg free and moves into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Miller wants to control but Jamison is keeping busy.
Jamison is nestled in close to Miller, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Jamison takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Jamison has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Jamison has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Miller really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jamison. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ricardo Jamison really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Namunamu Clothing logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
