Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Deandre Medina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rainer Isomaha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Medina instigates a clinch.
Isomaha stalling in the clinch but Medina improves position.
Isomaha wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Isomaha tries to break free but Medina pushes him back against the cage.
Isomaha is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Isomaha is trying to trip Medina. He has hold of a leg but Medina is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Isomaha persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Medina kicks Isomaha off and gets to his feet.

Isomaha gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Medina regains guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Medina working for a triangle but Isomaha defends it easily.
Isomaha throwing strikes but missing.
Isomaha trying to control the position from guard on top but Medina is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Medina is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Medina throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Isomaha escapes and throws Medina's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Isomaha postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Isomaha stands up and beckons Medina to his feet.

Isomaha gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Medina knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Isomaha on the ground.
Medina cracks Isomaha with a solid left hand.
Isomaha is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Isomaha has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Medina has passed into side control.

You can see the frustration on Isomaha's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Isomaha manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Isomaha is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Medina defends it well.

Isomaha decides to return to a standing position.

Medina closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Isomaha quickly recovers to half guard.

Isomaha is trying to control but Medina passes into side control!
A control attempt from Isomaha but he's now mounted!
Isomaha tries to lock up and control but Medina gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Medina lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Isomaha gets back to half guard.
Medina seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Isomaha is trying to control but can't.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Deandre Medina will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Isomaha has managed to clinch.

Medina has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Isomaha is trying to keep an underhook but Medina manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Isomaha has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Medina is on him like a limpet, forcing Isomaha back against the cage.

Medina drags the fight down to the ground.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Medina wants to sweep here but Isomaha controlling him for the moment.
Isomaha sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Medina's guard.

Isomaha wants to get back to his feet.
Medina is controlling Isomaha's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Isomaha looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Isomaha keeps trying to improve his position.
Medina is trying to stand up here but Isomaha is controlling him well.
Medina is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

Isomaha is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Medina is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
