Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Falls (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vlad Putin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Falls comes to the cage accompanied by "Fat Bottom Girls" - Queen. Putin is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Ahhhh Motherland. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Falls gets a takedown into half guard.

Putin moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Putin drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Putin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Falls. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Falls is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Falls connects with a nice short shot to Putin's temple.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Falls lands a huge takedown. Putin is out but the ref is slow to react and Falls lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. Putin lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.
