The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kidd blocks a jab.
Kidd avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Rutter misses with an uppercut. Kidd saw that one coming.
Rutter throws an overhand right that lands on Kidd's shoulder, as Kidd tries to avoid the shot.
Rutter sends Kidd crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Rutter is motioning to the referee to let Kidd up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
It looks like Dick Kidd has been cut.
Rutter swinging wilding here.
Rutter throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kidd sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Kidd swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Rutter counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Kidd to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Rutter!
