The judges for this bout are Josh West, Ryoma Takatsuka and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice shot by Karlsson.
Karlsson throws a jab when Hoeltzker was well out of range.
Karlsson moves out of range of the body kick.
Karlsson keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Hoeltzker tries a head kick but it misses.
Hoeltzker throws a half hearted mid kick.
Karlsson tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Hoeltzker manages to circle out of the way.
Hoeltzker takes one to the chin there.
Hoeltzker swings away with a leg kick that misses.
A quick step to the side and Karlsson tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hoeltzker . Karlsson does a little dance to reset his feet.
No joy there for Karlsson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hoeltzker thows a body kick. Karlsson tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Karlsson lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Hoeltzker throws a head kick that misses.
Karlsson was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Nice straight punches there by Karlsson. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Karlsson.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hoeltzker tries to land a front kick but Karlsson steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Hoeltzker turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Karlsson moves into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hoeltzker is looking to break free of the clinch but Karlsson has double underhooks.
Karlsson pushes Hoeltzker back against the ropes and unloads with a body punch.
Hoeltzker lands with a short shot to the head.
Karlsson lands with a light punch inside.
Hoeltzker blocks an uppercut.
Hoeltzker tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Karlsson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hoeltzker takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Hoeltzker is rocked!
Hoeltzker throws a hook to the side of Karlsson's head but Karlsson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Hoeltzker is still on wobbly legs! Can Karlsson finish him?
Karlsson knocks out Hoeltzker with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Karlsson before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Karlsson picks up the big W with a huge KO!
