The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Fedor Mirinova and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lauzon closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Schulmann did well to prevent Lauzon getting side control.
Lauzon not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Schulmann tries to get to full guard but Lauzon has control of the leg.
Lauzon wants to take a breather but Schulmann is having none of it.
Schulmann is trying to get back to full guard.
Lauzon misses with a head shot. Schulmann uses the momentum to regain guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lauzon accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Schulmann throws a jab but it's blocked by Lauzon.
Lauzon moves into the clinch.
Schulmann really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Schulmann tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Lauzon's elbow.
Lauzon putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Schulmann in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.

Schulmann tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Lauzon just stands there and leans against the cage.
Schulmann's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Schulmann lands a body shot.
Lauzon looking to throw knees to the head but Schulmann is blocking nicely.
Schulmann is fighting off a takedown attempt but Lauzon is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Schulmann to the mat. Schulmann regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Schulmann is controlling Lauzon's posture.
Lauzon wants to control from the top but Schulmann keeps moving.
Lauzon postures up in Schulmann's guard and throws a big left but Schulmann blocks it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lauzon tries to free his leg and advance position but Schulmann is retaining full guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Schulmann looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Lauzon is posturing up here but Schulmann has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Lauzon tries to roll out but it's too tight and Lauzon has to tap! Slick submission there by Schulmann!
