The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Reed Andrews and Steve Montenegro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mckenzie misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Tolken looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Mckenzie goes for a double leg but Tolken avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Tolken continues to drive forward.
Tolken throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mckenzie.
Mckenzie shoots in looking for a takedown but Tolken manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Mckenzie's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Tolken throws a counter combo.
Sloppy strikes from Mckenzie. Those never looked like landing.

and Mckenzie counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Mckenzie drops back looking for a leg! Tolken is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Tolken manages to kick Mckenzie off! Mckenzie jumps back into Tolken's guard.
Mckenzie controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tolken has momentary wrist control but Mckenzie slips an elbow through the middle.
Mckenzie has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Mckenzie chips away with some ground and pound.
Mckenzie controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Mckenzie gets to his feet. Tolken looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Tolken gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Tolken is wriggling around but Mckenzie manages to pass to half guard.

Mckenzie takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Mckenzie wants to work for an arm triangle but Tolken is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mckenzie has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Tolken defend it? Mckenzie steps over the head and cranks it - Tolken is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Mckenzie!
