The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ibrahim throws a series of strikes that have Caelum backpedaling.
Ibrahim scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

Caelum closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Caelum lands in his opponent's guard.
Caelum in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Ibrahim is looking to stand up but Caelum isn't so interested in that idea.
Caelum throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ibrahim works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Caelum tries to free his leg and advance position but Ibrahim is retaining full guard.
Ibrahim wants to get back to his feet but Caelum is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Caelum is looking to work some ground and pound but Ibrahim has wrist control.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Caelum avoids the head kick by Ibrahim.
It looked like Caelum was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
An inside leg kick lands from Ibrahim.

Caelum darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Caelum perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Caelum seems to be working for a kimura but Ibrahim defends the submission attempt.
Caelum lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Caelum in particular looking to stall.
